Low Hill Roasters

A retro identity, a cinematic pour and documentary roastery photography for a small-batch coffee roaster.

Studio concept. Made in-house to show the standard, not client work.

Brief

A self-set brief. A tiny roastery that sells to local cafés and online wants to look established without losing its small-batch feel.

Approach

A stamp-style badge that works on a bag, a cup sleeve or a rubber stamp. Slab lettering and a grainy print texture give it a retro roastery feel. The photography is documentary in style, following the beans from sack to roaster to bag to cup.

Result

A studio concept, not client work. It shows a full brand kit: logo, packaging, poster, social posts, a short film loop and a set of product photos.

Imagery

Shot like a real working day at the roastery: window light, grain and honest mess, so it feels true to a small business.

A battered cast-iron drum roaster tipping fresh beans into its cooling tray, smoke and chaff in the air, coffee sacks stacked against a brick wall.
