The seven steps

  1. Step 1: Quote

You tell me what you need and I send back a fixed quote.

    What you do
Fill in the quote form or send a WhatsApp message. A few lines is plenty: what you need, where it will be used and when you need it by.
    What I do
Reply within 24 hours. If anything is unclear I ask first, then send a fixed price with the turnaround for your project.

Quotes are valid for 30 days.

  2. Step 2: Agree

You decide whether to go ahead. Nothing starts, and nothing is owed, until you say yes.

    What you do
Read the quote and the terms of business, ask any questions you have, then tell me you’d like to go ahead.
    What I do
Answer your questions plainly. If you need something different, I change the scope and send a new quote.
  3. Step 3: Brief

You send everything I need to do the work properly.

    What you do
Send your logo files, brand colours, examples you like, where the work will run and your deadline. See the brief checklist.
    What I do
Go through the brief, ask about anything missing and confirm the plan with you.
  4. Step 4: Deposit

A 50% deposit books your project in and work begins.

    What you do
Pay the deposit: half of the quoted price.
    What I do
Send you the deposit invoice, book your project in and start work as soon as it’s paid.

Deposit: 50% of your quote, due at this step

It books your project in. The deposit is non-refundable once work starts.

  5. Step 5: Work-through

I share drafts and you tell me what to change. Two rounds of revisions are included.

    What you do
Look at each draft and send all your changes together, one message per round. Clear, collected notes get the best result.
    What I do
Share drafts, make your changes and send the next version. If you want more changes after two rounds, we agree them before I do the work.

Two rounds of revisions are included in your quote.

  6. Step 6: Final creation

I finish the work to the agreed brief and show you the final versions.

    What you do
Check the finals against the brief and tell me they’re right.
    What I do
Polish every piece, prepare it in the sizes and formats agreed in the brief, and show you previews of the finished files.
  7. Step 7: Final payment

You pay the balance and receive the full-resolution files, ready to use.

    What you do
Pay the balance: the remaining half of the quoted price.
    What I do
Release the full-resolution files as soon as the balance is paid. From then on the work is yours to use, as set out in the terms of business.

Balance: the remaining 50%, due at this step

Full-resolution files are released once the balance is paid.

Everything on this page is set out in full in the terms of business, including cancellations and how you can use the finished work. Shorter answers on deposits, revisions and file formats are in the FAQs.

What you’ll need to send

This is your brief at step 3. If you don’t have something yet, tell me and I’ll help you work out what to use instead.

  • Logo files

The best versions you have. Vector files (SVG, EPS, PDF or Adobe Illustrator) are ideal, and a large PNG with a transparent background also works.

  • Brand colours

Hex codes if you have them. If not, a link or a photo that shows your colours is fine.

  • Examples you like

Links or screenshots of adverts, posts or brands whose look you like, with a line on what you like about each one.

  • Where the work will run

Instagram, TikTok, your website, email, print or in store. This sets the sizes and formats I prepare.

  • Your deadline

The date you need the files by, and any launch or campaign date it ties in with.

Start with a quote.

Tell me what you need and I’ll reply within 24 hours with a quote.
